‘Bullet Train’: Derek Mcnally Discusses A Reunited NoEXIT And Infectious New Single
Tumblr media
Although NoEXIT hadn’t released anything collectively since 2002’s Into Your Head, the members of the multi-platinum English-pop group known for hits like “Back Here,” “Still On Your Side,” and “Out Of My Heart,” have remained friends and occasionally found themselves meeting up at various social events.
It was during one of these soirees that an impromptu jam session occurred. A resulting video clip of the performance was posted on social media and instantly went viral, sparking talks of a full-on reunion.
Now, after a fifteen-year hiatus, the reunited members of NoEXIT — Mark Jeremy Barry, Derek Mcnally and Stephen Adel Burns, are back with an infectious new single, “Bullet Train.” Releasing on Friday, May 3, the track is a small taste of what to expect from the group’s highly-anticipated new album due later this summer.
“Bullet Train” is the logical next step in the band’s evolution. A groove-ridden locomotive of musical maturity, guitar-driven hooks and, of course, the ubiquitous NoEXIT signature three-part harmony.
To coincide with the release of the new single, NoEXIT will embark on the first leg of the group’s North American “Back Here Tour” which begins May 6 in Boston, MA. Other dates include stops in cities like New York, Detroit, Nashville, Dallas and Chicago.
I recently spoke with NoEXIT’s Derek Mcnally about the reunion, “Bullet Train” and more in this exclusive new interview.
How did the NoEXIT reunion come about?
Even though we hadn’t done a show or anything together since 2003 we’ve stayed in touch and remained friends and gotten together at various events. We had an event a few years ago where we got out the guitars and had a jam. I posted a video of us singing “Back Here” on Ello and it went crazy. It had about two million views. We really enjoyed singing together again and it morphed into where we’re at now — our first new album in fifteen years and about to hit the road and go back on tour. It naturally felt like the right time to do it.
What was it like getting back in the recording studio again as NoEXIT?
It was like riding a bike. You never forget. We hadn’t written in the same room for many years so we just got the guitars out and had a jam. I remember the first day we came out with four really strong ideas. Two of which are on the new album.
Let’s discuss the new single, “Bullet Train.”
That was one of the ones we wrote on the first day we got together. We liked the feel and drive of it. It’s the glue and transition from the last album to where we are now. We’re excited to get it out there.
What’s your songwriting process like?
Everyone has a different approach and there’s no right or wrong way. For me, most of the time it starts with a melody. Sometimes I’ll have a little hook or will pick up the guitar and just start playing over a few chords. I rarely start with lyrics. It’s mostly melody-driven.
How do you determine who sings which part?
Arm wrestling [laughs]. The reason it works so well is because we have three completely different tones. Mark’s is a deeper tone; mine is in the middle and Steve can get really high up. We play to our strengths, so whatever fits.
What else can fans expect from the new album?
The main thing for NoEXIT is our sound. It’s very much guitar led but the main glue is the three-part harmony where we all take lead. Our tastes have changed over the years and in some ways we’re able to feature more electronic elements and sounds. On the whole the old NoEXIT fans from back in the day will not be disappointed and we’re looking forward to picking up some new ones along the way as well.
What can you tell me about the upcoming NoEXIT tour?
We’ve got twelve dates coming up and cannot wait to get back out on the road. We did three shows last November as a warm up and to dust the cobwebs off. We’re ready now and couldn’t be more excited.
vimeo
Can you tell me the origin of the song “Back Here” and more importantly, did you know at the time how special it was going to be?
We were writing a lot of songs at the time and had no idea how big it was going to become. We wrote it with Phil Thornalley who’s amazing songwriter and good friend of ours who produced The Cure and wrote the song, “Torn” (Natalie Imbruglia). I remember we wrote that song in literally about three hours. It was one of those ones that just flowed out. We knew it was a great song but it wasn’t until Oliver Leiber and John Shanks got ahold of it in the studio to produce it up that it became a big radio track.
Of all the highlights of your career is there one thing that stands out to you as most memorable?
There’s been so many great memories throughout our career. It’s hard to choose. One big moment was back in 2001 when “Back Here” went crazy on the radio. I still remember going to a performance at a mall in Los Angeles and it was absolutely incredible. People were literally spilling out of the mall in layers. That’s when we knew something big was happening. It was a pinch me moment.
What excites you the most about this next phase of NoEXIT’s career?
One big thing that’s changed from the last time we were out is the way the music industry is run. There’s such a direct link to the fans now and I love that we can interact with them through social media. It’s a very exciting time for music. This is our first album in a long time and we’re looking forward to putting out music and making people smile.

Quote
In the end, the railway of death was its builders’ route to salvation. The ghost sailors of the Houston and the Perth and the vanquished defenders of Java and Malaya rode its meter-gauge track out of the mountains toward new camps in Thailand’s central lowlands—places like Kanchanaburi and Tamarkan, Tamuan, Chungkai and Nakhon Pathom, home to a massive hospital with eight thousand beds. The most notorious engineering project of World War II was finished. At turning points such as this, there must be numbers to assess, but numbers do nothing to account for the varying traumas of individual experiences. Nonetheless: In Branches Three and Five, there were 1,845 dead from an original strength of 11,824, for a death rate of 15.6 percent. Overall, of 61,806 Allied prisoners forced to work on the Burma-Thailand Railway, 12,399 died, including 6,904 British, 2,815 Australians, more than 2,000 Dutch, and 131 Americans. A full 45 percent of the men in F Force at Songkurai died. Of the 525-man group known as H Force, which John Wisecup joined at Hintok and Konyu, only 116 returned. The train that carried them back had about the same number of boxcars as before, but this time there was plenty of room for all. The railway’s overall mortality rate of 20 percent is horrendous relative to that of Allied prisoners in other theaters. But it positively pales beside the numbers measuring the ordeal of the local Asian conscripts or romusha. Estimates of their deaths are conflicting but appear to approach 100,000, about one-third of the estimated 300,000 ordinary Asian civilians forced into service on the Death Railway.

New Post has been published on https://toldnews.com/politics/travelers-asking-airlines-is-the-boeing-737-max-8-safe-to-fly/
Travelers asking airlines: Is the Boeing 737 MAX 8 safe to fly?
Travelers asked airlines on Monday whether a new plane that’s now been involved in two deadly crashes since October — the Boeing 737 MAX 8 — is safe to fly.
On Sunday, one of those planes, operated by Ethiopian Airlines, crashed just minutes after taking off from Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa. In October, the same model aircraft crashed into the Java Sea in Indonesia, killing all 189 people on board. The plane, flown by Lion Air, started service in May 2017.
While no U.S. airline has stopped flying the 737 MAX 8, aviation regulators in China, Ethiopia and Indonesia have grounded their fleets until the plane’s safety is confirmed.
Though a full range of information isn’t yet available, ABC News’ transportation unit has answered some of the questions circulating in the aftermath of the crashes.
Is there any connection between the two crashes?
ABC News’ Senior Transportation Correspondent David Kerley reports:
Though both involved the same plane, it’s too early to make a connection between the deadly plane crash that killed 157 people near the capital of Ethiopia on Sunday and the crash that killed 189 people in Indonesia in October.
Though there is a lot of information from the Lion Air crash, which experts say was likely caused by a combination of maintenance and pilot error issues, there’s still very little information available from the crash in Ethiopia.
It’s promising that responders found two black boxes at the site of the Ethiopia crash — but how quickly experts can recover data from the crash will depend on the conditions the black boxes are in. The investigation could take weeks or months.
Mulugeta Ayene/AP
Workers gather at the scene of an Ethiopian Airlines flight crash near Bishoftu, south of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, March 11, 2019.
What’s significant from the little information that is known, however, is that shortly after takeoff, both airplanes had flight control issues. The data available so far from the crash in Ethiopia is that the aircraft started “porpoising,” or tilting up and down because of a problem with vertical airspeed.
The plane crashed within six minutes of takeoff.
The Boeing 737 is the best-selling jetliner ever — considered the workhorse of aviation — and the MAX 8 is the latest derivative, with upgrades and new technology.
The question now comes down to whether there is something inherently wrong with this brand new aircraft.
Though both pilots in both incidents were dealing with flight control issues, the two crashes could also turn out to be completely different.
Watch the full report from ABC News’ Senior Transportation Correspondent David Kerley here.

Boeing employees are pictured in front of a 737 MAX 8 produced for Southwest Airlines as Boeing celebrates the 10,000th 737 to come off the production line in Renton, Wash., March 13, 2018.
Which airlines fly the Boeing 737 MAX 8 and where?
ABC News’ transportation reporter and producer Jeffrey Cook reports:
ABC News spoke to the three airlines that fly the MAX 8 in the U.S. and all three confirmed they would continue to do so, expressing confidence in the airplane. There are 72 flying in the U.S. currently and 350 worldwide — with a backorder of around 4,600.
Here’s the breakdown by airline:
American Airlines has 24 in its fleet, mostly based out of Miami and serving its Caribbean routes.
Southwest Airlines has 34 in its fleet, operating routes all over the country, including the Boston-Houston route, the Vegas-Chicago route and the Austin, Texas-Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., route.
United Airlines doesn’t operate any MAX 8 airplanes but operates 14 MAX 9s — a longer model of the MAX 8 that can hold more passengers. Those planes mostly fly out of Houston.

How can passengers find out if they’re scheduled to fly on a Boeing 737 MAX 8?
ABC News’ transportation reporter and producer Christine Theodorou reports:
Many ticket holders have taken to Twitter, trying to figure out if their upcoming flights are on a Boeing 737 MAX 8. Generally, they’re finding out that there’s no guarantee which plane they’ll be flying until around 24 hours before their flight leaves.
“You would have to reach out to us roughly 24 [hours] prior to your flight so that we can see which aircraft we will be utilizing to fly that route,” a customer service representative for Southwest Airlines responded to a concerned customer on Twitter Monday morning.
In another tweet, the same representative dismissed another concerned passengers questions about aircraft type and possible reservation changes because of it, insisting Southwest remained confident in the safety of all of its Boeing airplanes, including the latest 737 MAX 8 version.
“Southwest has operated approximately 31,000 flights utilizing the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, and we plan on operating those aircraft going forward,” the tweet stated.
“We remain confident in the safety and airworthiness of our entire fleet of more than 750 Boeing 737 aircraft, and we don’t have any changes planned to 737 MAX operations,” Southwest said in a statement.
“We are fielding some questions from Customers asking if their flight will be operated by the Boeing 737 MAX 8. We are not, however, observing a high number of cancellations or reschedules,” the statement said. “Our Customer Relations Team is responding to concerned Customers individually, emphasizing our friendly, no-change-fee policy.”
American Airlines similarly tweeted from its account, saying “We have full confidence in the aircraft and our crew members, who are the best and most experienced in the industry.”
American wouldn’t say whether it’s received cancellation requests or if it’s making accommodations for frightened passengers.
Neither Southwest nor American is bending their rules for flight change fees, despite the new fears, they both said in response to customers on Twitter Monday.
United, which flies a Boeing 737 that’s similar but larger than the MAX 8 called the MAX 9, said on Twitter that if a passenger preferred not to fly that plane they would “do what is best in our capabilities to find alternative travel arrangements.” They did not say if that meant waiving change fees.
United responded to most passengers that it has confidence in its pilots, who are “properly trained to fly the 737 MAX 9 aircraft safely.”
ABC News’ Morgan Winsor contributed to this report.

NoEXIT Announces North American 'Back Here' Tour After 15-Year Hiatus: 'We Are So Thrilled'
Sooner or later, NoEXIT will be coming to a city near you!
After reuniting in 2018 following a 15-year hiatus, the guitar-driven boy band — comprised of Mark Jeremy Barry, Derek Mcnally  and Stephen Adel Burns — are announcing their North American tour exclusively with PEOPLE.
NoEXIT’s 12-show tour, dubbed “Back Here” after their iconic 1999 worldwide, kicks off May 7 in Boston, Massachusetts, and will travel through major cities like New York, Chicago and Nashville before concluding May 22 in Houston, Texas.
“We are very busy in the studio putting the finishing touches to our third studio album, which is coming out on April 26th. We are so thrilled to be hitting the road for a full tour in May since we absolutely loved our first few shows in November, and were blown away seeing all the fans come out after all those years away,” the band tells PEOPLE.
“We’re excited to get back on stage and play, as we have a special set of shows planned, which will include brand new NoEXIT music. Our fans have really stood with us and we can’t wait for them to hear it!”
Tumblr media
After going their separate ways in 2003, the group came together last April record for fun’s sake. But when they posted a video to social media, the clip went viral — and sparked a reunion.
“Back in the day we were like brothers, and we’re dear friends still to this day because we’ve stayed in touch. We’ve seen some of the other bands come back and having a good time performing, and we missed it,” Mcnally previously told PEOPLE exclusively about why they decided it was the perfect time to make their comeback. “We had done some songs on our own and we thought, ‘We have some songs here.’ It just felt like the right time to do it.”
Tumblr media
During their hiatus, both Burns and McNally remained in the music industry, while Barry went into personal training. But when it came to writing together again for the first time in 15 years, Mcnally said it was “like we had never been away.”
“Little things in our lives have changed, but we haven’t changed,” he said. “Back in the day we could hardly touch the ground, but this time around we’re really gonna savor a bit more and really enjoy it. We’re doing it all this time on our terms.”
Tumblr media
As for incorporating their previous rhythm into their forthcoming tunes, Mcnally said, “we’re just gonna mix them all up.”
Our sound is guitar-driven, three-part harmonies and that just fits in with the rest of our repertoire,” he added. “We haven’t changed our sound drastically — maybe a little bit — so the new songs definitely fit in with all the old stuff.”
One hit they’re especially excited to play again: “Back Here.”
“It’s amazing! At the time the song was out we didn’t realize it was going to be such a classic,” Mcnally told PEOPLE. “Billboard put us as one of the top 10 boy band songs of all time. People still hear it on the radio and TV. It was a magic song for us, so we look forward to performing it again.”
In November, the group performed three intimate shows in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles in celebration of reuniting and as “a taste of what’s coming.”
Tumblr media
“We’re so excited to get back on stage,” said Mcnally. “We’re a little nervous because it’s been 15 years, but as a whole we’re thrilled and excited to be back. We love hanging out together. We’re excited to see all the old fans again and reconnect, and to perform some new and old songs. We cannot wait to see everyone down there — it’s going to be a lot of fun!”
But, wait, there’s more. Die-hard NoEXIT fans will also be elated to know the group has added new items to their Pledge Music Campaign. The NoEXIT Vintage Merch Bundle includes one vintage signed postcard, two vintage stickers, set of four pins, and three guitar picks. Fans also have the option to choose one of NoEXIT’s songs, and the men will record an acoustic performance of that song especially for them. And for never-before-seen footage of NoEXIT post-hiatus, fans can purchase a disposable camera that the band has carried around with them, filled with images taken in the studio, on tour, and in everyday life.
Tumblr media

4/11-17: The Spring Break Series; Part 1: Short Stop @ Sunny San Fransisco
Aight. Spring break is here.
Woohoo!
Tumblr media
Spring break had started earlier for my YES friends in different states. They had gone to various iconic places in the US. I, for one, was happy enough I went to that AFS Trip, but then again, I am so grateful to have a pair of host parents who are able to read my mind and my craving for traveling. Not exactly mind-readers, but I think I had mentioned to them casually somewhere that I love road trips (read: loooooove road trips). And by that, I meant road trip in the US. The main big reason, I guess, was simply because the roads in this country is well-managed. When you want to go to another state, the only two big turns you should take are probably the one getting into the Interstate Highway, and the one getting out of it. Once you know which highway you should take (and it’s mostly the Interstate), you’re pretty much done.
This affection for US road trips came from the time my (natural) family and I took one from Houston, TX, to Orlando, FL. Not much fun stuff to see, I gotta be honest, but it’s just the road that made me like it so much. Compared to other road trip experiences I had already have (which is across Java, which is okay but during Eid Fitr is crowded as hell; and to West Sumatra, which gives me a perspective that Sumatran roads are terrible, both infrastructure-wise and geographic-wise due to the mountains), this road trip counted as amazing.
Karen and Eric took my subconscious hint and designed The Ultimate West Coast Road Trip to spend Spring Break.
Much love.
Here’s an abstract, a general scheme of the trip: a plane to San Francisco, a rented car from there down along the west coast, a turn east somewhere before Los Angeles (huhuhu) and a long long landlocked road trip across California to Nevada and a stop in Las Vegas. Then to the Grand Canyon. Then to Arizona with a stop by the Hoover Dam, then to Arizona, where Karen’s uncle lives. Then a plane back home.
Again, much love.
And so it began the second part of the two consecutive weeks of awesomeness.
MONDAY, APR 11, 2016.
So here’s the plan. Eric and I would catch a plane in the morning to San Francisco. Karen was already there because she needed to do some work there (what a coincidence). Once we got to SF, we took a train to the heart of the city, though not exactly sure where it was, but we stopped at this place where you can get a ride from one of those classic San Francisco cable cars. You know damn well what I’m talking about.
Tumblr media
If you’re like me, and if you paid some attention to some childhood memories, you probably notice this kind of vehicle in the movie The Princess Diaries. And if you do remember that movie, you must’ve been familiar with the scenes that show some extreme uphill and downhill all through the city. Yes, that was true too.
Tumblr media
These cable cars have been one of the ultimate tourist attractions in SF, and so, there was a long line for them. It wasn’t like a parking lot where you see a lot of cable cars parked and you just need to get in one to take you around. These things run on special rails, like trams, and at the stop there was only one rail for one car, so even though there were many of the cars, you still have to wait to get into them as they load people one car by one car.
The unique thing about this cable car is that to load people, they would run on the rail to a dead end, and this dead end is a rotatable one, so it’ll turn around to make the car face the other way, then the people working (the conductors) would jump off the car and literally pushed the car away from the rotatable cul-de-sac to in front of the line of people.
Pretty interesting how these cars work. Looked like they have some sort of an underground network to move them around, not just an ordinary vehicle on rails. Riding it itself was an experience. Sitting facing outwards—some people even dangled by the sides like an Indonesian non-air-conditioned city bus conductor—to the view of the city, the unique city with many ups and downs (pretty much like Seattle, eh?) and the design of it that just speaks “San Francisco”. Maybe I watch too much TV, but it’s true. And it’s exhilirating.
It made a few stops, but we jumped off at the stop by Pier 39, another tourist attraction of SF. That was where we met Karen. It was a big pier with a lot of stores and restaurants. There was a museum in an old submarine used during WWII and an old building full of old, antique arcade games (most of them still worked!).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(HMMM bandel ya)
Tumblr media
(padahal mesinnya nggak hidup)
I made a joke about how this is such a big and famous pier that it would get the other piers jealous—or should I say, its peers.
Tumblr media
Then Karen told me that I’ve hung out too much with Eric.
Tumblr media
But it was indeed a big pier, and if I were a pier, and I were a peer of this pier, I would be jealous.
Okay, I should stop.
As an indication on how good and sunny the weather was, take a look at these beautiful creatures chilling by the shore.
Tumblr media
We didn’t spend so much time there. We didn’t plan to spend the first night in SF anyway. When I found out we were stopping by SF, I told Karen I had a friend, another AFSer, who was hosted in SF area. Obit was her name, she was from Surabaya, and she happened to be hosted in Menlo Park, which was like a smaller town right next to SF. So we arranged a meet up. The bad news was that we planned to stop by the Golden Gate Bridge, but we got lost on the way that we had no more time to go there and we should go to Menlo Park right away.
We planned to meet at this chinese restaurant to also have dinner with Obit’s host mom. When we walked in, the second my eyes and Obit’s met, we hugged tight and squaked.
If you think we would speak Indonesian right away, that wasn’t what we did because we just felt it would not be respectful to our host parents. I met her host mom Sarah, and we had dinner, but Sarah had to leave early for some choir rehearsal, if I was not mistaken. So Obit was coming with us. We basically was just looking for a place to chat and catch up with each other, so Obit picked this mall to go to, and us Seattleites just followed. Soon enough, we were wandering aimlessly apart from Eric and Karen.
Aahhh. Felt good to talk Indonesian. Not that I haven’t been: I spoke Indonesian to my Jakartan friend Livia everyday during my days at Seattle Central Community College. But since then I didn’t think I speak it much anymore, mostly just in chats and verbally on calls with my mom. But the feeling of speaking Indonesian in a face-to-face real life conversation felt different.
And sure, since we speak a language that pretty much no one spoke at the place and time (plus there weren’t so many people anyway), we used this opportunity to talk the whole thing about our exchange year. Happenings, complaints, thoughts, just everything.
The good news was, we were gonna be in the same plane back home from Dubai to Jakarta. We hoped that the seating could be arranged. Hehe.
Tumblr media
After that, we drove Obit home, then we continued to a hotel nearby.
Ahh. What a great way to start spring break.

Pilot quickly called in Ethiopia plane emergency: NYT report
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia — The pilot of the Ethiopian Airlines plane that crashed requested permission “in a panicky voice” to return to the airport shortly after takeoff, The New York Times reported Friday.
The report cited “a person who reviewed air traffic communications” from Sunday’s flight saying controllers noticed the plane was moving up and down by hundreds of feet, with its speed appearing unusually fast.
An airline spokesman has said the pilot was given permission to return. But the plane crashed minutes later outside Addis Ababa, killing all 157 on board.
French authorities now have the plane’s flight data and voice recorders for analysis. The agency in charge of the review said it was unclear whether the data could be retrieved.
In Ethiopia, officials started taking DNA samples from victims’ family members to assist in identifying remains.
Countries including the United States have grounded the Boeing 737 Max 8 as the U.S.-based company faces the challenge of proving the jets are safe to fly amid suspicions that faulty software might have contributed to two crashes that killed 346 people in less than six months.
The decision to send the flight recorders to France was seen as a rebuke to the United States, which held out longer than most other countries in grounding the jets. The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board sent three investigators to help French authorities.
Boeing executives announced that they had paused delivery of the Max, although the company planned to continue building the jets while it weighs the effect of the grounding on production.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration grounded the planes Wednesday, saying regulators had new satellite evidence that showed the movements of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 were similar to those of Lion Air Flight 610. That flight crashed into the Java Sea off Indonesia in October, killing 189 people.
The Max jets are likely to be idle for weeks while Boeing tries to assure regulators around the world that the planes are safe. At a minimum, aviation experts say, the plane maker will need to finish updating software that might have played a role in the Lion Air crash.
Boeing said it supports the grounding of its planes as a precautionary step, while reiterating its “full confidence” in the safety of the 737 Max. Engineers are making changes to the system designed to prevent an aerodynamic stall if sensors detect that the jet’s nose is pointed too high and its speed is too slow.
Satellite-based data showed that both the Ethiopian Airlines and Lion Air planes flew with erratic altitude changes that could indicate the pilots struggled to control the aircraft. Both crews tried to return to the airport.
How long the planes stay grounded depends largely on what investigators find on the cockpit voice and flight data recorders, said Peter Goelz, a former managing director for the NTSB.
The Max is the latest upgrade to the Boeing 737s. Because its engines were larger and heavier, they were placed higher and farther forward on the wings. That created concern that the plane might be slightly more prone to an aerodynamic stall if not flown properly, so Boeing developed software to prevent that.
Investigators looking into the Indonesian crash are examining whether the software automatically pushed the plane’s nose down repeatedly, and whether the Lion Air pilots knew how to solve that problem by throwing toggle switches and cancelling the automated nose-down commands.
Ethiopian Airlines says its pilots received special training on how to deal with the Max’s anti-stall software.
At the crash scene in Hejere, about 50 kilometres (31 miles) from Addis Ababa, searchers continued to pick through the debris. Blue plastic sheeting covered the wreckage of the plane.
Anxious family members who had begun giving DNA samples waited for news on when identifications of remains would begin, and whether they would have anything to bury.
“We are not told what they have found so far,” Faysal Hussein, whose cousin was killed, told The Associated Press. “We are sitting here like forever. We were taken to the crash site on Wednesday but not allowed to get a closer look. And then yesterday Ethiopian Airlines officials called us to a meeting but they don’t have anything to say. This is frustrating.”

Apache Solr is an open source look server. It depends on the full content internet searcher called Apache Lucene. So essentially Solr is a HTTP wrapper around an altered file given by Lucene. A reversed file could be viewed as a rundown of words where each word-section connects to the archives it is contained in. That way getting all reports for the pursuit question "dzone" is a basic 'get' task.
One favorable position of Solr in big business ventures is that you needn't bother with any Java code, in spite of the fact that Java itself must be introduced. On the off chance that you are uncertain when to utilize Solr and when Lucene, these answers could help. In the event that you have to construct your Solr record from sites, you should investigate the open source crawler called Apache Nutch. 5.Interfacing infrastructure - To databases, customers and applications.
Electronic Money System Model:
The e-money system is a mechanism that facilitates payments - generally of limited value - in which e-money  bmw houston   can be considered as an electronic surrogate for coins and banknotes. The e-money system is described on the basis of a model with a set of sub-systems through which electronic value (EV) is transferred, under the responsibility of a System Supervisor who monitors the security of EV creation, EV extinguishment and EV circulation within the system.
The three main elements which make up our e-money system model are EV, EV circulation between sub-systems and supervision. Put together, these elements constitute the core of the e-money  lexus houston system model. The notions of transactions, compensation, EV life cycle and actors then complete this model.
EV is a monetary value represented by a claim on an EV Issuer, which is:
- stored on an electronic device;
- issued on receipt of funds for an amount not less in value than the monetary value issued;
- accepted as a means of payment hyundai houston  by undertakings other than the issuer.
The EV circulation starts with a first phase called EV creation, and ends with a final phase called EV extinguishment.
This model does not impose any restriction on the number of sub-systems that form an e-money system.
Transactions On The Internet:
All the transactions on the internet take place using the customer's personal computer and the seller's web server. Customers use a web browser to place on order with the merchant and specify honda dealership houston  their mode of payment. In the case of an online transaction the customer has the option of paying by credit card or smart card the customers can also to pay using electronic cash or a digital cheque . The software on the seller's server has to verify the order and has to settle the transaction by receiving authorization for the transfer of funds from a bank or the credit and acquirer. It is possible that the applications on the customer's, merchant's and bank's are not same. Hence the interaction across this step is achieved jaguar houston using a gateway, which is a link between applications.
The gateway allows for protocol conversion and communicates with the bank using the bank's private network or the internet. Gateway, more specifically common gateway interface (CGI) is a specification for communicating data between an information server, for example server, and other application. CGI is used wherever the web server needs to send or receive data from another application, such as database. A CG scratch and dent appliances  I script is a program that negotiates the movement of data between the web server and an outside application. It typically passes data, filled in by the user in an HTML form, from the web server to a database.
Payment System:
In any business transaction, the customer and merchant enter into an agreement. According to this agreement the merchant supplies the goods and services that the customer requests for while the customer transfers funds to the merchant in lien for the goods received.  wtw5000dw Thus the payment is the most important part in the sales cycle.
The general requirements of payment system's are-
(1)Confidentiality - the user expects a secure system of payment.
(2)Authentication - A method to verify the buyer's identity before payment is authorized.
(3)Integrity - It ensuring that information will whirlpool cabrio washer  not be accidentally or maliciously altered or destroyed during transmission.
(4)Authorization - It allows the merchant to determine if the buyer actually has funds to pay for the purchase. The merchant verifies that the customer's bank account has sufficient balance to honour the cheque amount.
(5)Privacy - There might be situations wrs325fdam   where both the customer and merchant would want to ensure the privacy of sale. example - a business conducting research might not the details of its purchases.
Types Of Electronic Payments:
The various methods that have been developed for making payments on the internet are electronic versions of the traditional payment systems that we use everyday. In our daily life we use cash,System network training    credit cards or cheques to make payments. All these systems are digitally incorporated on the web as e-cash, electronic cheques and credit cards.
(1)Credit Card:
Credit cards are the most popular payment method for cyberspace customer shopping today.
(a) The card holder- A customer or a corporate purchaser who uses credit cards to pay merchants.
(b) The merchant- the entity that accepts big data hadoop training    credit cards and offers goods or services in exchange for payments.
(c) The card issuer- A financial institution that establishes accounts for cardholders and issues credit cards.
(d) The acquirer- A financial institution that establishes an accounts for merchants and acquires the vouchers of authorized sales slips.
(2)Electronic Wallet Or Digital  cell phone repair training online  Wallet:
Secure electronic transaction (SET) protocol was initially designed by visa and master card in 1997. SET protocol meets the four security requirements for EC as SSL does: authentication, encryption, integrity and non repudiation. In addition, SET defines the message format, certificate format, and procedure of message exchange. The role of payment gateway is to connect the internet and proprietary networks of banks. Each participating entity needs its own certificates. To keep the consumer's certificate in his or her personal computer or IC card, software called the electronic wallet or digital wallet.
(3)Debit Card:
It is also known as check card, is a card that authorizes the EFT. EFT ,Designed to transfer a certain amount of money from one account to another. The customer's terminal can be automatic cell phone repair training   teller machine (ATM), PC, or telephone terminals. When we use a debit card, the amount is immediately deducted from our checking or savings accounts. The debit card allows we to spend only what is in our bank account.
Advantages Of Using Debit Card :
1.Obtaining a debit card is much easier than obtaining a credit card .
2.Using a debit card instead of writing checks saves you from showing personal identification .
3.Using a debit card frees we from carrying cash, travelers checks or a check book.
4.Marchants accepts debit cards more readily than checks.
(4)Smart Cards:
At present we carry many plastic cards such as credit cards, debit cards, charge cards, diving licenses, health insurance cards, employee or student identification cards and other.
Now for a moment if we think that all these cards are replaced by a single plastic card carrying all the information of the dozen or fifty cards. Not only dose it lighten our load, it makes identification and purchasing easer for us. Credit, debit and charge cards currently store limited A+ certification training  information about us in a magnetic stripe. And unlike a smart card, a credit card dose not contain cash - it only contains a number of an account that can be charged.
A smart card can store hundred times more information than a magnetic striped plastic card. A smart contains private user information such as financial facts, private encryption key, account information, credit cards numbers, health insurance information and so on. The current generation of smart cards includes IC chips with programmable functions.
(5)Closed Vs Open Electronic Cash System:
Electronic cash system can be either closed or open.
A closed system implies that the cash value in the IC card can only be recharged from a banks accounts, and the used money, which was collected in the memory of the IC card readers will be transferred to the receivers bank account. The direct transfer between IC cards is prohibited.
In open system allows direct transfer of money value between IC cards. Because Govt. are afraid of the risk of lost traceability money laundering.
Conclusion :
Nowadays the traditional bills and coins are giving way to the electronic money. With the wide spread of Internet this transformation is inevitable. It is obvious that digital cash is the future of exchange mechanism. It will surely condense many of the prevailing inconveniences such as carrying large amount of cash and will resolve many of the in-security issues experienced today. The electronic money would not only be quicker and cheaper but also more robust and easy to authenticate. People would not be apprehensive in using it as it will respect their privacy and will allow even small merchants to carry out the business all over the world. The digital cash will also reduce the cost of transferring the money internationally, which is quite expensive at present. The electronic money will not replace the traditional form of transaction completely but will facilitate it surely.
